We visited Bali in March 2009 and Made was recommended to us a reliable and honest driver. Well that was certainly an understatement, Made was not only punctual, he couldn’t have been more accommodating. He suggested great places to visit but gave us complete flexibility to go where we wanted and to stay for as long as we liked. In between sites Made shared his rich Balianese culture with us and furnished us with his vast knowledge of the local attractions.

We first met Made in 2005 on our first trip to Bali. From the time we met him we loved his warm nature and were so impressed with how he enjoyed sharing his Balianese culture with us. He is an honest and caring family man and nothing is ever too much trouble. He has taken us to sights all over the island, helped us with translations/interpreting and guided us on the Balianese way. We now have a little boy who adores Made and seeing him and his lovely family has become a wonderful part of our Bali holidays.

We found Made Sukarma from the forums in the internet who strongly recommended him, and he definitely does not disappoint. A really experienced, accommodating, humble, honest, caring, good driver, Made took great care of us for 2 days in Bali. He was also a wonderful tour guide to us, accompanying us into the places we went, showing us the best spots for photo-taking, explaining the background of the places, patiently waiting for us everywhere we went. After comparison, I felt Made's charges are reasonable, he won't rip you off or bring you to shops or places you don't want to go. What I like most is his sincerity & helpfulness, and he lets us enjoy the places without invading our space or being overly chatty, but gives us quiet time to take in the sights, however will still willingly answer any questions we have about anything at all. We were treated really well as a priority during the trips. His car is really clean & big with good aircon too. He also mentioned that he has helped look after children & elderly folks before when families hire him for trips in Bali. We'll definitely look for Made again when we go back to Bali.
